This is NOT an official site of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints , the Constitution Party, nor the
American Independent Party (affiliate of the Constitution Party). The Mormon Battalion is an independent group
of LDS men and women wishing to become active in local/state/federal politics via the Constitution Party.

You will see the constitution of the United States almost destroyed. It will hang like a thread. . . . A terrible revolution will take place in the land of America . . . The purpose of the CALIFORNIA Mormon Battalion is to work for the restoration of all constitutional rights affirmed by the Constitution of the United States. We assert that all power is inherent in the people and it is our right and duty, to protect and defend this Republic against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Our success depends on the education of the American people of the threat posed by these enemies, who are working to subvert our Constitutional Republic.

We are not advocating the overthrow of the U. S. Government, but we do advocate resistance to Unconstitutional legislation and executive orders. We also ADVOCATE resistance to the United Nations and to all forms of tyranny. All persons are welcomed in the CALIFORNIA Mormon Battalion, the only requirement is a love of liberty, and a return to the ideals of our forefathers contained in the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of the United States.

But it should be pointed out, the fact that our three branches of government (Legislative, Judicial, and Executive) are filled with crooks, thieves and sexual perverts. Corruption abounds in every hallway and room of our state and federal government. A majority of bureaucrats have no morals nor ethics. We cannot trust the people in charge of us, and we must fear our own government. Our constitution is hanging by a thread, and very soon it will be completely revoked!

The CALIFORNIA Mormon Battalion is an on and offline organization , of true AMERICAN Patriots homebased in California. Our only goal is to defend the U. S. Constitution and preserve it for our posterity.

You need not be a California resident to join this organization. You can sign up in any State by registering to vote and writing in the name of the Constitution Party as your affiliated political party. The Constitution Party (or their affiliate) is recognized in many state in the Union. We are people from all over the United States, from all nationalities, who stand together in our inalienable rights in American ethics morals and religious virtues and most importantly willing to defend their constitution to the best of our abilities. We will assist you in starting your local battalion (and refer you to your CONSTITUTION PARTY leaders) in any county in the US. If there is no organization yet, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO START ONE!

In California, there is no legal entity called the CONSTITUTION PARTY OF CALIFORNIA. Instead, the American Independent Party is affiliated with the CONSTITUTION PARTY USA. We cannot be a legal party until we have 80,000 registered voters. So, while we are recruiting Constitutionalists (people who believe that the Constitution should be reinstated as the Law of the Land) we are known here as the American Independent Party.

The CALIFORNIA Mormon Battalion is the only organization that is attempting to qualify the Constitution Party of California for the ballot. We welcome other organizations to help us achieve this goal.

 WE BELIEVE IN CONSERVATIVE LATTER DAY SAINT VALUES AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!! WE KNOW THAT ABORTION AND ESPECIALLY HOMOSEXUALITY ARE THE GREATEST MORAL EVILS OF OUR DAY!!! ALL MEN SHOULD BE LIKE "HELAMAN'S 2000 STRIPLING WARRIORS" (ALMA 53:17-18) BECAUSE A STRONG RIGHTEOUS LAND EQUALS A STRONG CALIFORNIA.

WE ARE OPEN TO MEN, WOMEN, YOUNG, OLD, BLACK, WHITE, ASIAN, WHO BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS. WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF ALL CALIFORNIANS, AND HOPEFULLY, THROUGH THE BALLOT BOX AND THE COURTS WE CAN TURN THIS STATE AROUND AND RETURN TO A RIGHTEOUS LIFESTYLE.

WE ARE NOT TRYING TO, NOR DO WE SUPPORT ANYONE OR GROUP TRYING TO OVERTHROW THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. WE BELIEVE IN FIGHTING TYRANNY AT THE LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT. AN EXTRA MEASURE OF EFFORT WE RESERVE FOR FIGHTING THE UNITED NATIONS WHOSE OFFICIALS CALL FOR GLOBAL GOVERNMENT. WE MUST RETURN TO STATES RIGHTS AND A SMALL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AS OUR FOUNDING FATHERS ENVISIONED OUR COUNTRY TO BE.

OUR FOUNDING FATHERS NEVER MEANT FOR THIS MONSTER OF A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO EXIST. IF OUR FOUNDING FATHERS WERE ALIVE TODAY THEY WOULD BE IN THE CALIFORNIA Mormon Battalion!!!

Requirements to Join Mormon Battalion
& Type of person we are looking for:

There are two requirements to join the Mormon Battalion.

#1) You must join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (Note: Neither the LDS Church, the American Independent Party, nor Constitution Party require ANY requirements to join THEIR organization. The requirement to be a member of the LDS Church is required ONLY in the Mormon Battalion, which is a separate, independent, and unofficial group OUTSIDE the LDS Church and the Constitution Party.)

  1. This would require to be go to your nearest LDS Church (consult your phone book under the heading "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." Ask to be given the six discussions. This will take about six weeks.

  2. You will then be given a chance to be baptized. This will satisfy the first requirement.

#2) Your second requirement, is to re-register to vote as a Constitution Party member. Once you re-register, contact us immediately and we will nominate you as a member of your local counties battalion. If there is no battalion organization, you will be asked to start one.

  • We want recruits that are willing to join a new Political Party...The Constitution Party. (It is not necessary to be LDS to be a member of the Constitution Party. Only the the Mormon Battalion requires membership in the CP. (click here to visit the Constitution Party Website) There is too much corruption in the other parties to remain with the status quo. No one may join this organization unless they show proof that they have registered to vote as a Constitution Party voter. Your county voter registrar (or whoever registers you) will give you a receipt that was attached to your voter registration card. You can use that as a temporary membership card. Until your County Voter Registar sends you the official notification card, you will not be allowed official membership.

  • We want recruits who are willing to DEFEND the constitution against foreign or domestic enemies. Our Constitution is now "hanging like a thread" and it is time to rally to her defense.

  • We want recruits who are willing to serve as a candidate for political office or work on your own county political central committee. You must be willing to shake off your apathy, and GET INVOLVED. We are at WAR! The majority of our fight will be through the ballot box and getting leaders elected that will DEFEND THE CONSTITUION. We may be asking YOU to run for office!

  • We want recruits preferably active Latter Day Saints. If you are inactive in a Christian Church, please become active in the church of your choice before you decide to join. There is only one place you should be at on Sunday, and that is in Church, worshipping our Creator and our Master. All other religions may freely join, but please be advised that this is considered a Christian based political party, and we invited you to freely worship with us, or else feel free to join any other party that more suits your beliefs, heritage and culture.

  • We want recruits preferably military veterans who has achieved the rank of E4 or higher while serving active service.

  • We want recruits who are willing to devote at least a minimum of six hours a month in unit service. We want ACTION not TALK!

  • We want recruits that believes in the 2nd Amendment, and is a gun owner. (But if you don't have a gun, bring a knife, if you don't have a knife, bring a baseball bat.) Be armed! Be ready to defend your family, your community, your nation.

  • We want you if you can be a trainer...you should know the fundamentals of teaching.

  • or, has Food Storage training

  • or, has Weapons training ( assault rifles and battle rifles only for basic development)

  • or, has Communications and electronics training

  • or, has Patrol tactics training

  • Someone that believes in the 2000 Platform of the Constitution Party, or the 2000 Platform of the (California) American Independent Party.
